I am better than before

The daughter of a loving mother and father, nurtured within a healthy family, shy and jovial were my traits. Aside from my leadership quality, Athletic and smart-I excelled in school. Pressured by the norm of teen society i got caught up in destruction. Lost in destruction the world became my enemy. In need of attention and love i yearned to find myself. Lost from my identity and culture i was alone. Aspired to become an actress and poet but what motivates me now is taking care of others. Everything about my persona i love. From the style of my hair and attire to the build of my body and from the joy within my divine being I'm nurturing, I'm beautiful, I'm confident, I'm determined. I am better than before.

Just A Thought

Life has taken me through many paths, I've endured great pain and have survived the worst, I've made some mistakes and I've  learned that they do not define who I am. What truly defines who I am is the strong beautiful woman that I stand for. I've learned that it is up to me to pick and choose my battles and to prioritize- Life is too short to keep wasting it away on non-sense. I've taken heed to the fact that it is up to me to choose to live my life, I am the control center of my universe and i refuse to live in darkness. I see the beauty of life for its been shining in my soul all along. I've found great meaning in life because i found the real me.

Broken Hearted

I was reading the paper today and once again i m disappointed in this world i live in. I read a story about this little girl that went missing last week while she was riding her bike outside of her house along with her 5 year old brother. A lot of questions crossed my mind. Why were these two babies outside playing without adult supervision? How come none saw this child being snatched along with her bike? My first thought was maybe she ending up riding too far from her house and got lost. Did she end up going with someone willing that she knew? I was heartbroken when i found out that the neighbor  was responsible for taking and killing this little girl. A father of three himself! How can someone be so wicked and evil? This sicko stated that he saw the little girl standing on his pool ladder grabbed her, and carried her inside his house,where he used a white plastic trash bag to suffocate her.What happened to this child could of happened to anyone's child
  it is so sad to say but yet it's the truth. We live in world filled with so much evil and hate. Parents it is not safe to leave your children unsupervised at any age. In a blink of an eye your child can disappear. My heart goes out to this little girl's family. I'm asking everyone who reads this to take a few seconds and lift this family in prayer. My thought of the day.
